BORA - hansgrohe has signed Filip Maciejuk to its roster for the upcoming season. The 24-year-old Polish rider joins the German WorldTeam as a fast-paced all-rounder.
In the junior category, Maciejuk showed his TT qualities by winning the bronze medal in the individual time trial at the World Championships in Bergen, as well as two national championship titles in the discipline. Since moving to the WorldTour two years ago, Maciejuk has developed as a reliable rider to support his teammates in one-day races and one-week stage races.
Filip Maciejuk: "I am very excited to join BORA - hansgrohe next year. I’d like to develop further in the classics and stage races. I know this will be possible in a team with such big names. I will support the leaders as much as possible and also take my chances when they come. It will be easier for me to get started because I already know some of the Polish staff members and, of course, Cesare."
