BORA - hansgrohe remains behind expectations on Sazka Tour’s second mountain finish

Stage three of the Sazka Tour covered a distance of 149km, four categorised climbs and, just like yesterday, another mountain finish to top it all off. Frederik Wandahl made the jump to the breakaway of the day, which was brought back 30km from the finish. On the final climb to the mountain finish at Dlouhé Stráně it was K. Bonneu who took the stage win. Ben Zwiehoff was the best placed BORA - hansgrohe rider, having crossed the line in 18th place.

03. J. Staune-Mittet +0:00

18. B. Zwiehoff +1:09

From the Finish Line

“Our goal for the day was to be part of the breakaway with Frederik Wandahl. That worked out very well but unfortunately the group was brought back a bit too early. After a long period without races, Ben Zwiehoff is not at his best quite yet and so was distanced on the final, decisive climb.“ Torsten Schmidt, Sports Director
