With Christoph Pfingsten, BORA – hansgrohe completes its roster for 2019.

After the German WorldTour team re-signed Christoph Pfingsten for another year, the BORA – hansgrohe roster now is complete. 27 riders from 10 different countries, among them eight Germans, form the 2019 team.

“We managed to build a well-balanced team for 2019. After Michael Kolar stopped his carreer this summer, Alex Saramotins and Matteo Pelucchi will leave the team by the end of the season. The signing of Maximilian Schachmann was very important for us, as we now have three key talents of German cycling at BORA – hansgrohe. With eight German riders in total, we also underline our German roots. Jempy Drucker and Oscar Gatto will strengthen our Classics group, but also add lots of experience to our roster. I am confident that we’ll keep progressing in 2019, especially at the Grand Tours we still can improve our results.” – Ralph Denk, Team Manager
