BORA – hansgrohe signs sprint talent Jordi Meeus

The young sprinter Jordi Meeus has signed for both coming years with the German WorldTeam, and will become part of the BORA – hansgrohe sprint train.

“Jordi is a sprinter, but also someone who is able to take on a more subordinate role in the team. He will definitely receive his chances. But we’re planning to integrate him into our sprint train as a lead-out rider. He is able to fulfil both roles very well, and our tests with him have shown that he certainly has the potential to become one of the fastest riders in the peloton.’ – Dan Lorang, Head of Innovation

“I’m extremely happy to have signed with BORA – hansgrohe. It is one of the best teams there is, and has offered me a fantastic opportunity. Three years ago, I moved to SEG Racing Academy, which was absolutely the correct decision to make. Now, I’m ready to take the next step towards a team that is similarly familiar, but at the same time works incredibly meticulously. Particularly in the area of sports science, I see this as a leading environment, and of course I’m hoping for a corresponding development over the next few years. I’m extremely motivated about this.”– Jordi Meeus
